BONNIE WEIR
Bonnie Weir was raised in Elyria, Ohio and has lived in Canada and the Pacific Northwest where she seriously started pursuing a career in the visual arts. She earned a BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design and an MA from Antioch University McGregor. A noted fine artist and educator, her work is represented in numerous private and corporate collections. Bonnie Weir is currently an adjunct instructor at the Columbus College of Art & Design and the Columbus Cultural Arts Center.
"To me, making art is a combination of personal experience, interpretation, and a shared visual language. My creative concerns are based on the enigmas created by the perceived interaction of space, form and content as viewed through the lens of our personal realities. I believe there are multiple interpretations to one piece of art and viewer engagement is the ultimate collaborative experience between artist and the audience."
